Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, located in southwestern Uganda, has an altitude ranging from 1,160m – 2,607m above sea level. 60% of the park sits at an elevation of over 2,000 meters. The lowest areas of the park are mostly in the northern tip, and the highest is Rwamunyonyi Peak at 2,607m on the eastern edge of the park.
